We are seeking a Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) Human Resources Generalist to support our manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. This role plays a key part in driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and enforcement of company policies and procedures
- Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee relations and disciplinary matters
- Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for open positions
- Conduct employee training, investigations, and I-9 audits
- Assist with unemployment claims, appeals, and hearings
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Analyze turnover, retention, and absenteeism data; support development of improvement initiatives
- Prepare and distribute HR reports as needed
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of HR and employee relations experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (Title VII, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with technology and HR systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office setting within a manufacturing facility
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Exposure to production environments including noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment
- May include exposure to cold, damp conditions and strong odors
