Sales Representative – Northern Arizona Territory

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the Northern Arizona territory. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with experience in CNC machine tools, industrial equipment, or capital equipment sales to represent industry-leading manufacturing solutions while supported by a dedicated Technical Center team including Applications Engineering, Automation, Inside Sales, and Service.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving territory growth, developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that support long-term success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts throughout the assigned territory
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand territory revenue
  • Identify, pursue, and close key sales opportunities to meet or exceed annual sales goals
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems
  • Coordinate machine demonstrations and customer visits at company technical centers
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry professionals to better understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Maintain regular communication with Territory Sales Management and internal support teams
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through phone calls, in-person visits, and networking activities
  • Promote company products and services across professional and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Participate in trade associations, industry events, and networking groups to strengthen market presence


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machine tools, industrial equipment, or capital equipment sales
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales processes and territory development
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated professional with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer follow-up and account management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and customer support


Preferred Technical Knowledge

  • CNC machining processes including milling, turning, and EDM
  • CMM inspection equipment and metrology practices
