The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Columbus, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health care for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all. Your Role:
- Provide behavioral health support to assist individuals in improving health status and disease management
- Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills, including telehealth assessment
- Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans and goals for the patient
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, as appropriate, to develop treatment goals for the patient
- Complete necessary documentation and reporting in accordance with departmental standards and Federal and State regulations
- Consult and cooperate with community systems to facilitate crisis management, advocacy, referral, and follow-up with the focus on attaining treatment goals
What We Are Looking For:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field
- Current license in good standing as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska (LMHP, PLMHP, LIMHP, LCSW, PLCSW, MSW)
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of mental health disorders
- Demonstrated clinical decision-making skills appropriate to client care and safety
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals in a public health setting
- Certification or Licensure to treat Drug and Alcohol disorders preferred
- Training in crisis intervention and case management preferred
