The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dentist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Omaha, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care for all. Your Role:
- Provide full scope, comprehensive general dentistry for patients of all ages
- Educate patients in the general promotion of oral health related disease prevention
- Supervise dental assistants and hygienists
- Assist in implementation of QA / QI program for the dental clinic as required by state, federal government, and local entities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes
- Work in conjunction with dental hygienists in community engagement, outreach, and educations programs
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Nebraska; Federal DEA License
- Knowledge of PCMH model of care, FQHC healthcare delivery model, and public health principles and practices
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals in a public health setting
- Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
- Knowledge of quality assurance and risk management standards and processes
- 2 - 3 years of experience required
- Active BLS certificate
