At Solid Rock Search, we work with top-tier private construction firms who are serious about their people, their projects, and their safety. One of our Pittsburgh-based clients is looking for a Safety Manager to join their team and help lead the charge in keeping crews safe and operations smooth.
This isn’t just a clipboard-and-hardhat role — this is your chance to step onto major job sites and make a real impact from day one.
👷♂️ The Role:
- Act as the boots-on-the-ground safety lead for commercial construction projects
- Drive a strong, proactive safety culture across teams and trades
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, orientations, and ongoing training
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects safe and compliant
- Be the go-to for hazard prevention, incident reporting, and corrective action plans
🎓 What You Need:
- A recent degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related program
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence on job sites
- A deep passion for keeping people safe — and the initiative to speak up when it counts
- Some internship/co-op experience? Even better. But attitude and drive matter most.
