Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for independently managing projects from proposal through final deliverables, developing complete design packages that meet technical and contractual requirements. This role involves close coordination with multiple disciplines to gather essential information, balancing concurrent design and construction schedules, and ensuring high-quality engineering output. The engineer will also perform quality control (QC) and professional engineering (PE) reviews, providing high-level conceptual feedback and technical guidance to support project excellence and team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings, along with standard specifications
- Demonstrated experience in Industrial Power Distribution and Motor Controls, including the preparation of contract drawings and required certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable demeanor to collaborate with both peers and clients
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict, often competing deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Independently develop complete project deliverable packages based on approved proposals
- Lead project tasks from proposal through to final deliverables with minimal supervision
- Collaborate directly with other engineering disciplines to gather and integrate necessary project information
- Oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent design and construction project schedules
- Perform quality control (QC) and professional engineer (PE) reviews of team members' work
- Participate in high-level QC discussions, offering conceptual feedback and abstract-level critique to ensure design integrity and alignment with project goals
