We are seeking an Electrical & Controls Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in systems engineering and mechanical integration to join a leading industrial equipment manufacturer with over 40 years of excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, custom automation systems across multiple industries.
Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial control systems, including PLC/HMI programming, power distribution, and automation architectures.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electromechanical systems, design layouts, and ensure system performance.

Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and similar tools.

Validate and troubleshoot systems during build and commissioning (minimal travel).

Generate technical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and manuals.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in electrical design, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens preferred).
- Knowledge of machine safety standards.
- Experience in system-level design, motion control, and mechanical system integration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
