Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial electrical systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, control panels, and power systems to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert electrical and electronic engineering support across a 24/7 state-of-the-art industrial operation.
  • Design, engineer, and manage the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment, system upgrades, and capital projects.
  • Lead on-site resources, contractors, and cross-functional teams through successful project execution.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to equipment reliability, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop and follow through on corrective actions for recurring technical issues; ensure solutions are implemented and validated.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives focused on systems performance, maintenance strategies, and automation upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot large-scale industrial power supplies, motor drives, and furnace control systems.
  • Use diagnostic tools (e.g., meters, oscilloscopes, analyzers) to assess and resolve electrical system performance issues.
  • Create detailed reports and documentation for performance, project milestones, training, and equipment reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices through professional development and training.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork; uphold all company policies and safety protocols.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in industrial electronics and/or automation control systems.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • Industrial power systems and components (motors, drives, power supplies)
  • Electrical control systems and troubleshooting in manufacturing environments
  • PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation platforms
  • Familiarity with programming (PLC Ladder Logic; C/C++, C#, or .NET preferred).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems including pneumatic and hydraulic controls is a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable leading projects and collaborating across departments and organizational levels.
  • Willingness to support operations during weekends or holidays as needed.
