Sr. Electrical Engineer
The Sr. Electrical Engineer is responsible for independently managing projects from proposal through final deliverables, developing complete design packages that meet technical and contractual requirements. This role involves close coordination with multiple disciplines to gather essential information, balancing concurrent design and construction schedules, and ensuring high-quality engineering output. The engineer will also perform quality control (QC) and professional engineering (PE) reviews, providing high-level conceptual feedback and technical guidance to support project excellence and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete deliverable packages based on approved project proposals
- Independently manage tasks across all project phases—from concept to final deliverables
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to gather design inputs and ensure alignment
- Oversee and manage multiple, concurrent design and construction project schedules
- Conduct quality control (QC) and Professional Engineer (PE) reviews of team members’ work
- Participate in high-level QC discussions, providing abstract feedback and guidance on engineering concepts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license – required
- Proven experience in industrial power distribution and motor control systems, including contract drawing development and certifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and standard specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, professional demeanor for working effectively with peers, clients, and stakeholders
