GPN Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-regarded London accountancy firm that is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing financial statements and supporting a broad portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger companies across a variety of industries

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied & interesting portfolio of clients
• Produce management accounts and financial reports
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Support junior staff and review their work where required
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide support

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ideally ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or finalist
• Previous experience working in a UK accountancy firm preparing accounts
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Experience working with SME and owner-managed business clients
• Good communication and client-facing skills
