About the Role
You will work across a varied portfolio, supporting both audit and accounts assignments, with responsibilities including:
- Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements
- Supporting fieldwork and completion stages of audits
- Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Liaising with clients and responding to queries in a professional manner
- Working closely with senior team members and managers on assignments
- Gaining exposure to a broad range of sectors and client sizes
This is a hands-on role offering strong technical development and increasing client responsibility.
About You
- Circa 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) – ideally Certificate Level complete with some Professional exams passed
- Strong audit and/or accounts experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- The firm is also open to individuals with strong practical experience who are earlier in their studies or yet to formalise qualifications.
