GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing accountancy firm that work with an interesting and diverse client base. Located in the French alps but working with UK businesses, this firm work with start-ups, production houses, hospitality and more. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a developing accountant to gain exposure to a wide range of clients while building their technical knowledge within a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Prepare management accounts and supporting schedules
• Assist with VAT returns
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve queries

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified. qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong interest in accounts preparation and financial reporting
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to speak French would be desirable but not essential
