Location: Gloucester

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE

Hours: Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business in Gloucester. This role would suit a CNC Milling Programmer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls
  • Create and edit programmes directly on the machine
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances
  • Machine small batch and one-off components
  • Select tooling, speeds and feeds for a range of materials
  • Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
  • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency


The Person:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Milling Programmer
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls (essential)
  • Experience within a subcontract / precision engineering environment (important due to varied work)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
