Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Cheltenham

Contract Type: Temporary

Contract Length: 2/3 weeks – possibility to extend

Start Date: Monday 9th February 2026

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Rate: £12.21 per hour


We’re looking for a warm, professional, and detail-focused Temporary Receptionist to join our busy car showroom, supporting our Service Department. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience.

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers visiting the showroom, helping create a welcoming and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately inputting and updating customer information into our systems
  • Supporting the service team with appointment check-ins and basic administration
  • Answering phone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area

  • Friendly, approachable, and confident communicator
  • Highly attentive with strong attention to detail
  • Focused and organised, even in a busy environment
  • Comfortable using computers and data entry systems
  • Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Previous reception or customer service experience is an advantage
