As an Engagement Lead, you will:

• Be responsible for the delivery, development and evaluation of the charity’s hospital-based storytelling programmes
• Work closely with storytellers, hospital professionals and families to ensure every child’s experience is meaningful and memorable
• Lead the logistics and delivery of the hospital programme
• Support and coordinate a team of professional storytellers
• Gather and analyse feedback to inform programme development
• Manage sensitive case studies and storytelling content
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Champion best practice in oracy, storytelling and reading aloud

To be successful as an Engagement Lead, you will be:

• Experienced in programme delivery, ideally in health or education settings
• Skilled in evaluation, reporting and stakeholder engagement
• Compassionate, organised and confident working with sensitive materials
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and consent management
• A strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and children’s wellbeing

In return, we are offering an annual salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position with occasional travel expected.
