As an Engagement Lead, you will:
- Be responsible for the delivery, development and evaluation of the charity’s hospital-based storytelling programmes
- Work closely with storytellers, hospital professionals and families to ensure every child’s experience is meaningful and memorable
- Lead the logistics and delivery of the hospital programme
- Support and coordinate a team of professional storytellers
- Gather and analyse feedback to inform programme development
- Manage sensitive case studies and storytelling content
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Champion best practice in oracy, storytelling and reading aloud
To be successful as an Engagement Lead, you will be:
- Experienced in programme delivery, ideally in health or education settings
- Skilled in evaluation, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Compassionate, organised and confident working with sensitive materials
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and consent management
- A strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and children’s wellbeing
In return, we are offering an annual salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position with occasional travel expected.
