Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid Working)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a collaborative and high-performing team, supporting new and existing programmes across the full product lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting APQP activities across new product introduction (NPI)
• Managing and maintaining PPAP documentation and submissions
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality)
• Driving continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives
• Investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
• Supporting internal and external audits (including aerospace standards)
• Ensuring customer requirements are embedded within manufacturing processes

The Person

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within the aerospace sector (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong working knowledge of APQP and PPAP (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience working within AS9100 regulated environments
• Understanding of PFMEA, control plans and process control methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
