Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC control systems.
• Producing precision-engineered components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Carrying out tool setting, tool changes and offset adjustments.
• Conducting self-inspection of completed work to drawing and SPC requirements.
• Using a variety of measuring equipment to ensure components meet strict quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Person

• Proven experience working as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter/Operator or CNC Miller within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out self-inspection using standard measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality precision components.
• Experience within aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments would be advantageous, although not essential.

• Flexible start and finish times
• 39 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
