Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE

An established and growing precision engineering business is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their quality team on a double day shift. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CMM Quality Inspector who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on accuracy, standards, and continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out inspection of machined components using CMM and manual measuring equipment
• Program and operate CMM machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product compliance
• Complete first-off, in-process, and final inspections
• Record and report inspection results, highlighting any non-conformances
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
• Ensure all inspection activities are completed in line with company and industry standards

The Person:

• Proven experience as a CMM Quality Inspector within a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Experience using CMM software (e.g. PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS, Aberlink or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Flexible to work a double day shift pattern
