Location: Redditch

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 DOE

Shift Pattern: Day Shift, Monday – Friday

Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines
  • Producing precision-engineered components to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Performing tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments
  • Inspecting components using a range of measuring equipment
  • Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process
  • Completing production documentation accurately
  • Working to production schedules while ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working closely with Production and Quality teams to achieve manufacturing targets

The Person

The successful CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have:

  • Previous CNC Setting and Operating experience
  • Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges
  • Good understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
