Your Role

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating reliable and efficient programmes for the manufacture of precision-engineered components. Working closely with machinists and the wider production team, you will ensure new and existing jobs are produced safely, accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, editing and optimising CNC programmes
• Programming components from detailed engineering drawings
• Supporting machine set-ups and proving out new jobs
• Selecting suitable tooling, cutting speeds and feeds
• Improving cycle times, machining methods and overall efficiency
• Troubleshooting programming and machining issues
• Supporting machinists with technical queries
• Maintaining accurate programme records and version control
• Working with production teams to achieve quality and delivery targets
• Contributing ideas to continuous-improvement projects

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a CNC Programmer
• Strong knowledge of CNC Fanuc controls
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds and feeds
• Experience manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Offline programming experience would be beneficial but is not essential
