Position Summary

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities to drive sales growth and profitability within the industrial services division. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering responsive service, technical support coordination, and professional sales presentations.


This role requires a motivated self-starter who can work independently, communicate effectively, and build long-term relationships with customers across a designated territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, customer visits, and scheduled appointments.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue goals.
  • Prepare, review, and present project quotes and sales proposals to support profitable growth.
  • Develop weekly schedules and sales plans in coordination with management.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, sales calls, orders, and opportunities.
  • Stay informed on current and emerging product and service offerings through ongoing training and industry education.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns and service-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to customers or coordinate assistance with internal teams.
  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and community involvement activities.
  • Support company initiatives, culture, and core values.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations and team success.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug/alcohol testing.


Preferred Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or technical service sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial motor repair or rotating equipment services is a plus.
