Job Title: Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations while providing leadership to a small team and partnering closely with executive leadership. This role is well-suited for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can balance detailed accounting responsibilities with team management and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, driving process improvements, and supporting global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations & Financial Management

  • Oversee accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and revenue reconciliation
  • Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities

Team Leadership & External Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor Accounts Payable staff, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external accounting partners
  • Review deliverables from external providers to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership on financial strategy and operational planning

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify, improve, and document accounting processes to enhance scalability and efficiency
  • Support audit processes, tax filings, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support growth initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA designation required (or actively pursuing certification)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in high-volume or operationally intensive environments
  • Experience managing or supervising accounting staff
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
  • Experience working with external accounting firms and senior stakeholders

Language & Communication

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones

Additional Requirements

  • Remote position with flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to support global operations
  • Comfortable reporting directly to senior leadership and operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability
