Senior Tax Manager — Public Accounting

Location: Glendale, CA or Encino, CA | Hybrid (2 days/week in office)

A well-established, boutique public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing tax practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on a leadership role with a clear path toward partnership.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and review complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and foundations

- Oversee tax planning and compliance across a diverse client base spanning multiple industries

- Supervise and mentor tax staff and senior associates

- Serve as a key client relationship manager, providing strategic tax advisory services

- Stay current on tax law changes and ensure firm-wide compliance

- Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development and client growth initiatives

Qualifications:

- CPA required

- 8+ years of public accounting tax experience

- Strong technical knowledge across multiple entity types and industries

- Proven ability to manage client relationships and mentor junior staff

- Excellent communication and leadership skills
