Reporting directly to the Regional Controller, you will work closely with executive management and operations to oversee inventory financial controls, drive ledger accuracy, and streamline accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts within the general ledger; prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory reports and journal entries.

Audit & Compliance: Perform regular inventory audits, variance analyses, and cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies while strengthening internal controls.

Operational Collaboration: Partner with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory controls, validation processes, and overall workflow efficiency.

Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis on income and expense accounts for reasonableness; assist in data collection and schedule preparation for internal/external audits.

System Optimization: Drive automation and efficiency in reporting and close cycles; support ongoing ERP enhancements and system implementations.
Requirements
- Associates degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years’ on-the-job Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong foundational knowledge of GAAP
