Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with a strong background in Heavy Civil construction, particularly in earthworks, and ideally with experience in structural concrete. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a promote-from-within culture, with a clear career path into Project Management after 2–3 years in estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review cost estimates for Heavy Civil projects with a focus on earthworks.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate bids and proposals.
• Analyze structural concrete packages and incorporate findings into project bids.
• Manage project take-offs, quantity estimates, and subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Support project managers who also perform estimating, aligning pre-construction and project execution efforts.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements in estimating and project delivery.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management and/or Estimating experience; open to PMs who bid their own jobs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; HS Diploma with steady relevant experience also accepted.
• Strong understanding of Heavy Civil and earthworks projects; structural concrete experience a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and grow into Project Management responsibilities over time.
