With decades of experience in the leasing, development, and management of high-value commercial assets, the firm prides itself on a hands-on management style and a commitment to financial transparency. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to join a stable, growth-oriented environment.

The Opportunity

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage the complete accounting lifecycle for 30+ properties, including G/L maintenance, A/P, A/R, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Financial Reporting & Consolidations: Prepare, review, and consolidate complex monthly and quarterly financial packages for stakeholders.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Perform detailed variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget), manage cash flow requirements, and oversee bank reconciliations.
  • Software Super-User: Leverage MRI to maintain data integrity and optimize reporting processes.
  • Compliance & Audit: Lead the preparation for year-end audits and ensure all property-level tax filings and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
  • Recovery & Reconciliation: Oversee annual CAM, Tax, and Insurance reconciliations for commercial tenants.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Industry Expertise: Specific experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MRI and Yardi is strongly preferred. High-level Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) are required.
  • Management: Proven experience leading or supervising a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This is a full-time, 100% in-office position.
