HR Generalist & Systems Administrator
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist & Systems Administrator to support human resources operations, HR systems administration, employee data management, recruiting coordination, reporting, and employee lifecycle processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient people operations by ensuring the accuracy of employee data, supporting HR technology platforms, and coordinating key HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, workforce reporting, and employee support within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain HR systems, including employee data updates, workflows, security roles, reporting, and system support.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee records and HR data.
- Support system enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Assist with HRIS reporting and analytics to support business and workforce planning needs.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Support employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, organizational changes, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and organizational structures within HR systems.
- Assist with employee documentation and personnel file management.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and recordkeeping requirements.
Recruiting & Onboarding Support
- Coordinate recruiting operations, including job requisition administration, interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and offer process support.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to facilitate an efficient hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a positive new hire experience.
- Maintain recruiting records and assist with recruitment reporting.
Reporting & Workforce Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and distribute HR reports related to headcount, turnover, hiring activity, compensation, and organizational metrics.
- Analyze workforce data and provide insights to support operational and business decisions.
- Support audit requests and compliance reporting requirements.
- Assist leadership with ad hoc reporting and workforce analysis projects.
HR Operations & Project Support
- Assist with performance management cycles, compensation planning activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support HR process documentation, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency projects.
- Coordinate HR-related projects, including system implementations, organizational updates, and reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with payroll, finance, HR leadership, and business leaders to support operational execution and data accuracy.
- Help ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee communications are consistently administered.
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, people operations, HR generalist, recruiting operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting employee data management, onboarding, recruiting coordination, and HR operational processes.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems administration and reporting.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday or similar systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workforce analytics, HR reporting, and organizational metrics.
- Experience supporting high-growth or technology-enabled organizations.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience participating in HR system implementations or process improvement initiatives.
