Position Summary

The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between the company and a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and the growth of existing accounts. This dynamic role requires a blend of horticultural knowledge, strong communication skills, and effective project management to coordinate field crews and meet client expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conduct regular property walks and meetings, and proactively suggest property improvements and solutions.
  • Operations Coordination: Oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties, coordinate with field supervisors and crews on daily activities, and ensure all work meets quality standards and contract specifications.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and sell enhancement opportunities (e.g., landscape renovations, irrigation upgrades) to existing clients and manage the contract renewal process.
  • Budgeting & Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze the financial performance of accounts and enhancement projects, ensuring work is completed within budget and on time.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to field staff, ensure safety procedures are followed, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve client concerns and site issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.



Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in landscape maintenance account management or a related field, with experience managing crews preferred.
  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of standard landscape industry practices, including plant, shrub, and tree identification, as well as proper usage of chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and landscape management or CRM software (e.g., Aspire, LMN).
  • Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
