Our client is a highly respected cyber advisory and managed services firm delivering specialized security solutions to mid-market and enterprise organizations across North America and Europe. On their behalf, we are conducting a retained search for a Toronto-based Manager / Director of MSSP Operations to lead an established team and manage key client accounts across Canada

Role Overview

This operational leadership role is designed for a accomplished MSSP leader capable of bridging technical delivery with executive client management. Overseeing a core team of 6 to 7 security professionals, this individual will own service delivery performance, ensure operational excellence, and serve as a strategic partner to international client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, and mentor an operational team of 6–7 cybersecurity professionals.
• Drive operational excellence across the MSSP practice, ensuring service SLAs, incident response, and threat monitoring meet enterprise standards.
• Manage strategic relationships with enterprise clients throughout Canada, serving as the senior point of escalation and strategic counsel.
• Optimize operational processes, tool integration, and reporting frameworks to scale with client growth.
• Travel periodically to client sites across Canada to build trust, lead business reviews, and support major security initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• MSSP Background: Proven track record managing operations, service delivery, or technical teams within a Managed Security Service Provider framework.
• Client Management: Superior communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience consulting directly with executive client leaders.
• Team Leadership: 3+ years of direct line management experience leading technical cybersecurity personnel.
• Location & Mobility: Toronto-based with the flexibility to undertake periodic domestic and international travel
