Senior Professional Services Consultant – Insurance Analytics & Pricing


Overview

A leading provider of cloud-based analytics and intelligent decisioning solutions is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to support insurance clients through advanced pricing, predictive modeling, and analytics initiatives. This position is ideal for a seasoned insurance analytics professional with strong actuarial expertise and a consultative approach to solving complex business challenges.


This role partners closely with insurance carriers to improve pricing strategy, risk evaluation, underwriting performance, and customer personalization efforts through data-driven insights and advanced modeling techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic pricing and analytics discussions with insurance clients, aligning analytical insights with broader business objectives.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to translate complex actuarial and predictive modeling results into actionable business recommendations.
  • Design, develop, and enhance predictive and statistical models used for pricing, risk segmentation, and demand forecasting.
  • Deliver consultative guidance on insurance analytics best practices across multiple product lines and business functions.
  • Support implementation and optimization of intelligent decisioning and pricing platforms within client environments.
  • Conduct executive-level demonstrations, workshops, onboarding sessions, and user training programs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams by connecting analytics initiatives to measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, actuarial, and business teams to ensure successful client delivery and adoption.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within the insurance industry, including significant exposure to actuarial science, pricing, analytics, or predictive modeling.
  • Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python and/or R for model development and deployment.
  • Experience working with insurance pricing, underwriting, or decisioning platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience within insurance or financial services environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.

  • Deep understanding of insurance pricing strategies, risk analytics, and underwriting operations.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience mentoring teams and collaborating across multiple business units.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $175,000 – $200,000
  • Additional incentive and benefits package available.
