Job Title: Branch Manager
Position Overview
The Branch Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial performance, daily operations, and overall success of an assigned branch. This position ensures that operations align with company standards for customer service, quality, and contract execution while driving profitability, team development, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards
- Manage and understand the branch’s annual budget, making informed business decisions to meet financial targets
- Review and analyze monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Utilize ERP or operational systems to monitor performance metrics and drive data-informed decisions
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and field staff
- Assign leadership responsibilities within the branch to support safety programs, fleet management, and operational initiatives
- Partner with HR and administrative teams to maintain optimal staffing levels, including workforce planning and onboarding
- Ensure new team members receive proper training and onboarding within established timelines
Client & Service Delivery Management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by maintaining service quality and responsiveness
- Participate in client meetings as needed to stay informed on service performance and client expectations
- Monitor project execution to ensure all work aligns with contract requirements, timelines, and quality standards
Performance & Process Improvement
- Track and measure branch performance against company goals and key performance indicators
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
- Maintain and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability
Vendor & Resource Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure competitive pricing and service quality
- Oversee resource allocation, including equipment and materials, to support operational needs
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or branch management role
- Experience with ERP or operational management systems
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field
- Experience in training, process development, and SOP documentation
- Background in operations, construction, landscaping, or service-based industries
