Staff Accountant
The Client exists to be the most trusted document-equipment partner in North America—not by pushing product, but by delivering service that keeps customers productive for decades. As Staff Accountant you will safeguard the financial clarity that lets our long-tenured technicians and sales teams stay focused on that mission. Your work will turn numbers into decisions that protect cash, strengthen vendor relationships, and fuel our next chapter of growth from Irving.
Performance Objectives
- Close the monthly books within five business days at 99%+ accuracy, reconciling all bank, inventory, and service-contract accounts.
- Reduce days-sales-outstanding to under 45 while keeping vendor payments on agreed terms, protecting both cash flow and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Deliver quarterly financial-package insights that identify at least $150k in annual cost or working-capital improvements.
- Own the annual audit and tax-prep process so that fieldwork is completed with zero material adjustments.
- Cut month-end close cycle time 20% in the first year by streamlining reconciliations and automating recurring journal entries.
- Partner with operations to produce rolling 13-week cash-flow forecasts that stay within 5% of actuals.
Environment & Resources
You will report to the Controller and work alongside a tight three-person accounting team. Tools include our ERP (inventory, service contracts, and billing), Excel, and bank-reconciliation software. You will have direct access to operations leaders and a culture that values tenure and straight talk over bureaucracy. Hybrid schedule based in Irving, Texas.

Role Selling Points
