Area Sales Manager
Patients choose aesthetic care when they trust the physician, the technology, and the result. This role puts you in the practices that deliver face, body, skin, hair-removal, and women’s wellness treatments—and makes those practices successful with minimally invasive laser, light, and radiofrequency platforms. You will not just cover a territory. You will grow utilization, expand the installed base, and turn clinical confidence into durable revenue.
Performance Objectives
- Own a defined territory plan and hit quarterly revenue, unit placement, and consumable or procedure-volume targets.
- Open and convert qualified aesthetic practices by running a disciplined pipeline from first clinical conversation to signed order.
- Increase revenue per account by pairing the right platform to each practice’s patient mix, then driving adoption after install.
- Run in-office demonstrations and staff education so physicians and teams can explain outcomes, safety, and treatment plans with confidence.
- Protect and grow key accounts through scheduled business reviews, competitive defense, and early identification of expansion opportunities.
- Forecast accurately and surface risks early so leadership can allocate inventory, clinical support, and marketing where they change results.
- Represent the portfolio with integrity, staying inside labeling, compliance, and fair-balance standards in every customer interaction.
Environment & Resources
You will report to regional sales leadership and partner daily with clinical educators, marketing, customer care, and service. Expect a field role with a company vehicle or mileage support, demo access, CRM and forecasting tools, and a defined territory budget for customer education. Success is measured on results, not activity theater.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven quota attainment selling capital medical devices or aesthetic technologies to physicians, practice owners, or medical directors.
- Ability to teach clinical and economic value—not just features—and close multi-stakeholder deals.
- Track record of post-sale adoption: training staff, lifting utilization, and earning reorder or upgrade business.
- Working knowledge of aesthetic practice economics, including consult conversion, treatment menus, and return on equipment.
- Clean compliance habits and comfort operating under medical-device promotion rules.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel the territory consistently.
Why This Role
- In-demand platforms across face, body, skin, hair removal, and women’s wellness—not a single-product bag.
- Growth-stage medical device business with a public-company operating cadence and room to build a franchise.
- Clinical education is part of the sale, so your wins show up in real patient treatments.
- Clear scoreboard: placements, utilization, and account growth—not vague “relationship” goals.
