Senior Financial Analyst
Position Overview
A growing corporate finance and FP&A team is seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis across key product lines. This is a high-visibility role that offers direct exposure to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, investor relations activities, and board-level reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling capabilities, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. This position is well-suited for individuals with experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or advisory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and business support across product groups and operational divisions
- Identify key business risks, performance trends, opportunities, and operational drivers
- Prepare detailed pricing, margin, and cost analysis to support business decision-making
- Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitor performance
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools using advanced Excel and other reporting platforms
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives
- Assist with executive presentations, board reporting materials, and ad-hoc strategic analysis requests
- Support Investor Relations activities, including earnings preparation and related financial analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy, forecasting reliability, and data integrity
- Assist with automation initiatives and process improvements related to ERP systems and financial reporting workflows
- Contribute to initiatives focused on shortening close cycles and standardizing reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or advisory services
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting systems, and financial infrastructure
- Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting methodologies, and business performance metrics
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and financial narratives
- Manufacturing, industrial, or product-based industry experience preferred
- Background in investment banking or Big 4 advisory is a plus
