Job Title: Data Scientist (Client Analytics)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a client-facing analytics team in a fully remote capacity. This role combines advanced data science with business impact, focusing on analyzing large-scale datasets, developing insights, and communicating data-driven narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This position is ideal for a data professional who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to revenue growth, and translating complex analytical findings into meaningful business value throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights
  • Evaluate model performance and provide recommendations to optimize outcomes
  • Support clients in building effective risk management and decision-making strategies

Client Engagement & Storytelling

  • Develop and present compelling data-driven narratives to demonstrate product value
  • Translate complex analytical concepts, including machine learning models, into clear business insights
  • Act as a subject matter expert, helping clients understand solutions and their impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with go-to-market teams including Sales, Account Management, and Solutions teams to support pre- and post-sales efforts
  • Identify opportunities for product optimization, upselling, and enhanced client value
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to internal product and data teams

Modeling & Innovation

  • Build and test machine learning models to explore new approaches and improve existing solutions
  • Develop tools and automated workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of analysis
  • Contribute to the evolution of data products through insights and experimentation

Tools & Technology

  • Work with modern data science and cloud tools to manage, process, and analyze large datasets
  • Utilize visualization tools to create dashboards and interactive reports

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with large-scale datasets
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Solid understanding of machine learning methods (supervised and unsupervised)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Background in risk analytics, identity verification, or fraud prevention
