Senior Product Manager, Fraud Detection & ID Verification

We’re hiring a Senior PM to own a fraud detection engine responsible for detecting document fraud and verifying identity document integrity. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role, approximately 70% product development, 30% go-to-market combining machine learning, computer vision, and fraud decisioning.

What You’ll Do

Detection & Roadmap

•       Own roadmap and execution for a fraud detection engine covering injection attacks, deepfakes, and document manipulation

•       Partner with Data Science to define, evaluate, and improve model performance across fraud vectors

Decisioning & Risk Logic

•       Design and evolve decisioning frameworks that translate model outputs into actionable outcomes

•       Build configurable logic supporting diverse customer risk profiles while balancing fraud detection performance with conversion impact

Data & Performance

•       Write SQL to evaluate model performance, decisioning outcomes, and conversion impact

•       Define and track key metrics: detection rates, precision/recall, false positive rates, and UX impact

Cross-Functional & GTM

•       Translate product requirements into technical execution with Engineering and Data Science

•       Partner with Fraud Investigation, Customer Success, and Sales to align on product behavior and outcomes

•       Work directly with customers on fraud edge cases, operational needs, and complex implementations

What You Bring

Required

•       3–5 years of PM experience in identity verification, fraud prevention, or ML-driven products

•       Hands-on familiarity with the ML lifecycle: data labeling, model training, deployment, and monitoring

•       Exposure to computer vision, OCR, or image processing

•       Experience with fraud detection, identity verification flows, or risk-based decisioning

•       SQL proficiency: can write queries independently to evaluate model and product outcomes

•       Technical fluency in APIs, databases, and product architecture

•       Proven cross-functional partnership with Data Science and Engineering as a contributor, not just a stakeholder

Nice to Have

•       Data science or engineering background

•       Experience in public sector or financial services identity/fraud products
