About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team at a leading commercial door company. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates looking to start their career in construction and gain valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist estimators and project management team in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial door projects
• Review and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents
• Research and gather information on materials, labor, and subcontractor costs
• Prepare and organize bid documents and proposals
• Communicate with suppliers and General Contractors to obtain pricing and availability
• Support project scheduling and documentation processes
• Support the project management team with various tasks including, but not limited to detailing the projects

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of construction terminology, blueprints, and Comsense software is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Bluebeam, and email communication
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a construction environment
