Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, and operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting growth within professional services, technology, consulting, managed services, or SaaS organizations. This executive will provide financial leadership, oversee forecasting and reporting, support mergers and acquisitions, and partner with executive leadership, boards, and lenders to drive long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop financial models and provide strategic insights to support business growth and decision-making.
- Oversee financial reporting, revenue recognition, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Present financial performance and strategic initiatives to executive leadership, boards, and lending institutions.
- Manage banking relationships, debt covenant reporting, and financial compliance.
- Lead financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.
- Optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities, including ERP utilization.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in professional services, IT services, software implementation, managed services (MSP), consulting, or SaaS businesses with recurring revenue models.
- Previous experience as a Corporate Controller, VP of Finance, Finance Director, Director of FP&A, or similar senior finance leadership role.
- Experience supporting organizations with approximately $30M–$300M in annual revenue and 150–800 employees.
- Private equity-backed company experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience presenting financial results to Boards of Directors and lending institutions.
- Strong knowledge of banking relationships, debt covenant reporting, and financial compliance.
- Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning skills.
- Strong proficiency with NetSuite ERP.
- Experience leading mergers and acquisitions, including financial integration.
- Builder mentality with strong leadership, collaboration, and continuous learning capabilities.
