The Role

We're looking for a Controller to own accounting and financial operations. You'll lead the monthly close, build scalable systems, and serve as a key finance partner across the business. Hands-on role with real scope to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, monthly close, and internal/external financial reporting
• Maintain GAAP-compliant records; support audit and tax processes
• Build scalable accounting policies for a fintech/lending environment
• Oversee loan-level transaction flows, capital movements, and reconciliation
• Implement internal controls for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare investor reporting on portfolio performance and key metrics
• Partner with product and engineering on financial data architecture
• Identify automation opportunities across reporting and treasury functions

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in accounting or finance operations — fintech or financial services
• Deep GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience
• Experience with lending or credit product accounting
• CPA required; Big 4 or high-growth startup background a plus
