Senior Accountant

Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will play a key part in managing day‑to‑day accounting functions, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Review AP/AR activity and support cash management as needed
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Collaborate closely with controllers, managers, and cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macros, formulas)
• Experience with accounting software / ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
