Financial Analyst 1 – Logistics Value Add

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join a formal Analyst Program within a leading real estate investment organization focused on logistics and supply chain-related assets.
This role provides exposure to all aspects of the commercial real estate private equity and investment process, including financial modeling, acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and investment strategy. The Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and have significant opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain complex financial models using Excel and ARGUS
- Support the sourcing, underwriting, evaluation, and execution of real estate investment opportunities
- Analyze investment opportunities and develop financial and strategic analyses
- Support investment due diligence, including financial and operational analysis
- Prepare internal and external presentations, including materials for Investment Committee meetings and tenant/investor presentations
- Assist with coordination and execution of real estate transactions and deal closings
- Conduct research related to new investment strategies and market opportunities
- Support private equity fundraising activities and related analysis
- Collaborate with senior investment professionals and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Recent college graduate with 1–2 years of professional office experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ARGUS or commercial real estate financial modeling is highly desirable
- Ability to develop and execute customized investment and strategic analyses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Highly proactive with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and genuine interest in real estate investing and private equity

Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based position in Chicago, IL. The role may require up to 10% travel annually to other office or business locations based on organizational needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000
