Job Title: Audit Supervisor

Our client, a prominent local CPA firm, is currently seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor. This role is ideal for a public accounting professional with a strong Employee Benefits Audit background, particularly in working with closely held businesses, S corporations, and C corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion for a variety of privately held clients, including S corps and C corps
• Supervise and review work performed by audit staff, ensuring quality and compliance
• Maintain strong client relationships by serving as a key point of contact throughout the engagement process
• Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior audit staff
• Stay informed on developments in accounting and auditing standards (GAAP, GAAS, etc.)

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years' recent public accounting experience in audit/assurance
• Strong background in auditing closely held businesses, S corporations, and C corporations
