The Minnesota Alliance on Problem Gambling (MNAPG) has retained Frederick Fox's Exectuive Search team to hire it's next Executive Director. MNAPG is the state’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by problem gambling through advocacy, education, training, and research.

As Minnesota’s affiliate of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), MNAPG brings together individuals, professionals, and organizations who share the belief that problem gambling is a serious, treatable, and preventable public health issue. MNAPG works from a gambling-neutral stance and is committed to reducing stigma, expanding awareness, advocating for treatment resources, and equipping professionals and communities across Minnesota with the tools to identify and support those impacted by gambling disorder.

The Opportunity

MNAPG is seeking its next Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter during a meaningful period of transition and opportunity.

After years of dedicated leadership, the current Executive Director will retire at the end of 2026. This creates a rare opportunity for a mission-driven leader to step into a well-established and highly respected statewide organization with a strong foundation, trusted partnerships, and real opportunity for continued growth and impact.

Minnesota’s gambling landscape is evolving rapidly, including emerging issues related to sports betting, online gambling, and gambling-related harm. The next Executive Director will play a critical role in helping shape the future of awareness, advocacy, prevention, and support across the state.

This role is ideal for a collaborative and credible leader who can navigate a wide range of stakeholders, strengthen strategic partnerships, and serve as a visible voice for the organization’s mission.
