Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and technical management skills who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and client communications
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements and quality standards
- Manage project documentation, reporting, schedules, and financial tracking using construction management software
- Collaborate closely with operations leadership, field teams, clients, and subcontractors to maintain project transparency and client satisfaction
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and operational challenges
- Support project planning, procurement, change order management, and project closeout activities
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety procedures, and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Project Management role within the commercial construction industry
- Proven experience managing municipal, retail, renovation, or public-sector construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
- Proficiency with construction management software such as RedTeam or similar platforms
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience working collaboratively with leadership teams, clients, and field operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public sector or housing authority projects
- Familiarity with renovation and specialized modernization projects
- Knowledge of construction financial tracking and reporting systems
