Senior Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and technical management skills who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and client communications
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements and quality standards
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, schedules, and financial tracking using construction management software
  • Collaborate closely with operations leadership, field teams, clients, and subcontractors to maintain project transparency and client satisfaction
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and operational challenges
  • Support project planning, procurement, change order management, and project closeout activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety procedures, and company standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Project Management role within the commercial construction industry
  • Proven experience managing municipal, retail, renovation, or public-sector construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as RedTeam or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working collaboratively with leadership teams, clients, and field operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with public sector or housing authority projects
  • Familiarity with renovation and specialized modernization projects
  • Knowledge of construction financial tracking and reporting systems
