Our client is a high-growth investment and holding company currently modernizing a diverse portfolio of approximately 500 small-to-medium-sized businesses. Operating across 13 industries—including healthcare, legal, and finance—they have doubled their revenue for three consecutive years.

They are launching a greenfield internal AI consultancy. This is not a research role; they are seeking an AI Operational Founder to bridge the gap between AI potential and practical business ROI. You will be responsible for implementing workflow automations that drive immediate, tangible impact across their North American portfolio.

The Mandate: What You Will Accomplish

• Solution Design & Technical Execution
• Identify and deploy existing AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, cybersecurity automation) to streamline diverse SMB workflows.
• Develop standardized "AI Packages" that are repeatable, profitable, and scalable across various industries.
• Iterate on solutions "in the trenches" during the early phases to perfect the operational formula.

Client Strategy & Sales Engineering

• Serve as the technical authority on warm sales calls, translating complex AI concepts into trust-based business solutions.
• Partner with service managers to diagnose customer pain points and build automated solutions without falling into "ad-hoc" consulting traps.

Leadership & Growth

• Build and lead a specialized team of AI experts as the practice expands.
• Define the tech stack that will dictate the firm's efficiency and competitive edge.
• Establish reporting frameworks to prove ROI and outcome-based results to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

This role is designed for a mid-career professional who is "dangerously" competent in automation and possesses the social polish to command a boardroom.

• Technical Literacy: Proven track record of implementing workflow automations using tools like Zapier, Make, or Copilot.
