Area Sales Manager – Job Description

Position Overview

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving territory growth, achieving sales targets, and developing long-term relationships with physicians, medical practices, and aesthetic healthcare providers. This role focuses on selling capital medical devices, aesthetic technologies, and associated consumables across facial, body, skin, hair-removal, and women’s wellness applications.

The Area Sales Manager manages the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and clinical evaluations through proposal development, contract negotiation, installation coordination, staff training, utilization growth, and account expansion. Success requires the ability to connect clinical outcomes with sound business value, helping practices understand how the right technology can improve patient care, expand treatment offerings, and generate sustainable revenue.

Working closely with regional sales leadership, clinical educators, marketing, service, applications, and finance teams, the Area Sales Manager ensures that customers receive appropriate product education, reliable implementation support, and ongoing guidance to maximize the value of their investment.

The ideal candidate combines a proven track record in capital medical device or aesthetic technology sales with strong clinical communication skills, disciplined territory management, and the ability to build trusted relationships with physicians and practice leaders.
