Branch Manager – Commercial Field Operations

Title: Branch Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Overseeing a 120-mile operational radius)

Target Compensation: $135,000 – $145,000 Base (Top-Tier Enterprise Leaders) | $125,000 – $135,000 Base (Proven Operational Managers) + Performance Bonus

The Opportunity

A premier, nationally recognized leader in commercial field services is seeking an executive-minded Branch Manager to lead our flagship $25M business unit in Jacksonville.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume, multi-stream operational enterprise backed by a world-class field and administrative team. You will step into a well-structured business covering a dynamic 120-mile market footprint, working in a brief partnership with senior leadership to master local operations before fully taking the reins.

If you are a proven operational leader with a track record of driving P&L performance, optimizing labor efficiency, and leading decentralized field teams, this role provides the scale, resources, and executive platform to build a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full P&L Ownership: Drive the financial health of a $25M enterprise, focusing on margin expansion, EBITDA optimization, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization.
  • Regional Operations: Direct operational strategy and service delivery across a multi-site, 120-mile regional market footprint.
  • Team Leadership & Retention: Lead, mentor, and empower an established team of operational managers, client account leaders, and field crews to maintain high standards and low turnover.
  • Operational Excellence & Safety: Enforce corporate safety standards (EHS), quality assurance protocols, and standard operating procedures across all service lines.
  • Strategic Growth: Partner with account managers to protect base contract renewals while driving ancillary service growth across the branch.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven P&L Leadership: Demonstrated success managing large-scale, labor-heavy P&Ls ($10M+) in decentralized, route-based, or multi-unit field operations.
  • Open Industry Background: Commercial landscaping experience is NOT required. We welcome high-performing leaders from adjacent industries such as waste management, industrial equipment rental, uniform/facility services, logistics, or multi-unit field operations.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, variable labor control, margin leakage, and the key operational drivers of EBITDA.
  • Collaborative Leadership Style: An approachable, high-IQ communicator who can engage with corporate client stakeholders, lead field teams, and work constructively with existing leadership.
