Senior Revenue Accountant
Take your career further in a role that keeps revenue honest across a nationwide grocery and foodservice supply chain. You will turn high-volume billing, customer agreements, promotions, and deductions into numbers leadership can trust. Accurate revenue protects cash, margin, and the service promise behind every order we move.
Performance Objectives
- Close monthly revenue on the published calendar, with reconciliations complete, reconciling items aged, and an audit-ready package in hand.
- Apply revenue recognition to contracts, allowances, billbacks, and credits so recorded revenue matches performance and terms.
- Reduce repeat billing and deduction exceptions by tracing root causes with sales, pricing, credit, and operations.
- Explain volume, price, mix, and accrual swings in clear revenue and margin analysis before leadership reviews.
- Support internal and external audits with complete documentation and no material restatement tied to your accounts.
- Strengthen controls over accruals, deferred revenue, and customer credits so testing closes without repeat findings.
- Document and coach the close so the process runs without single-person dependency.
Environment & Resources
You will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager within Corporate Accounting and partner daily with billing, credit, sales finance, and internal audit. The work spans grocery and foodservice distribution. You will use the ERP, close tools, contract files, and billing data, with a defined close calendar and written revenue policies.

- Advanced Excel and ERP experience sufficient to build and maintain close workpapers.
- CPA, or active progress toward it, preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at the level required for workpapers, audit responses, and cross-functional work.
Role Selling Points
- Day-one medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, FSA/HSA, and paid time off from day one.
- 401(k) profit sharing after 90 days, plus tuition reimbursement, parental leave, pet insurance, and teammate discounts.
- A seat at the center of a people-centered distribution network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce customers.
- Leaders who think long-term, hold the work to a high standard, and invest in skill-building.
