In this role, you’ll prepare precise, competitive bids, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the expansion of the commercial division.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans to assess labor, material, and equipment requirements
- Produce detailed and accurate estimates using modern software tools
- Coordinate with project and field teams to align bids with actual execution
- Maintain relationships with clients and trade partners through consistent communication and site visits
- Monitor bid performance, adjust pricing strategies, and identify new opportunities
- Achieve individual bid and sales goals that drive overall growth
Qualifications
- 2+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, landscaping, or hardscaping
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and numerical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365; experience with estimating or takeoff software preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Professional certifications (e.g. CMHA) preferred or obtainable within 12 months
