This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a company in a step up position as the Senior Accountant will be supervising staff (direct reports) and given an Accounting Manager role within 2 months. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of public or corporate accounting experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Duties:

• Lead month end close
• Prepare financial statements
• Reconcile GL accounts
• Analyze financial variances against budget and forecast.
• Prepare and present financial forecasts monthly
• Conduct strategic analysis for leadership
• Participate in annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Train staff on internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial statement interpretation.

Desired background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 5 years of corporate or public accounting experience
• CPA a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
